Beverly (B.J.) Huffman is a highly accomplished training and facilitation professional, specializing in course development and delivery in the areas of leadership development, diversity, team building, business communication, customer service and management skills training.  

 What sets B.J. apart from other trainers is not just the "common sense" approach she incorporates in her course development but in her highly dynamic and entertaining presentation platform style and effective motivational skills.  She believes that learning can be not only enlightening but also fun.  Her skill of converting highly complex business communication concepts into everyday application, has gained her a reputation as a trainer that equips participants with real tools that they can quickly apply "back at the ranch" once training is completed. 

B.J.'s
goal is to allow participants to examine the "uh-oh's" and "a-ha's" of their own behavior, to heighten their level of self-awareness as to how that behavior impacts their work environment and to conclude their training by creating their own behavior-specific action plans that focuses on the future...what else is possible.

Training is B.J.'s passion.  She firmly believes that when continuous learning and training is included as a business objective in an organization's value system, this will ultimately have a positive impact on the overall work environment and, most importantly, the bottom line success of the business.

B.J. has over 20 years experience in the leadership-training arena, which includes holding numerous management & corporate training positions within AT&T.  She was a Corporate Training Manager until taking an early retirement package from AT&T in 1998. 

She holds several degrees in Communication, (Radio-TV/Journalism/Public Relations), from the University of Houston.

As an independent training consultant, B.J. continues to work with other Fortune 500 companies in developing and delivering workshops, focusing on management and leadership skills through her own company of Learning Interventions.
